An Update About The Season

Dear WBBA Families,

Registration for all WBBA programs is now open.

COVID-19 Guidelines  - Details can be found via this link:

Travel Tryout Process -  Unfortunately we will not be allowed into the Wayzata school district gyms until October 5th, which means we will be forced to condense our typical two-day tryout process into one day. This tryout will take place for all grades on Sunday, October 11th.  We will have all relevant details to the tryout process when registration goes live on September 8th.

Refund Policy Update - In the event that a portion or the entire 20-21 season is cancelled or suspended, the WBBA will issue a prorated refund based on the WBBA costs incurred through the date of cancellation or suspension. The WBBA is a not for profit organization, which uses player registration fees to cover all expenses related to operating the House, Travel and Southwest basketball programs.   These expenses include, but are not limited to, renting gym space, paying referees, buying uniforms, and registering for tournaments.  Any refunded amounts will be program-specific and each family will be notified how much will be refunded and when payments will be issued after the WBBA conducts a thorough accounting of the incurred costs.

Southwest 6th - 8th Grade Leagues - For the '20-'21 season we will not be hosting player evaluation sessions that are used to offer coaches guidance when forming teams.  If you are interested in volunteering to be a SW coach, please indicate on your player registration which will close on October 20th.  If you have questions about coaching you can send an email to

For all other questions, visit the program link for details.
