2019/2020 Basketball Season

Registration for the 2019/2020 Boys Basketball season is as follows:

Travel (grades 4-8) is CLOSED

House (grades 1-5) is CLOSED

Southwest (grades 6-12) is OPEN. Please refer to program for deadline to register.

House Key Dates

1st – 5th Grade House Registration opens Aug 1

Late Registration is October 1-4, fees go up an additional $25

4th-5th grade House evals Oct 6; no evals for 1st – 3rd grade

SOUTHWEST REGISTRATION

SW Evaluations - Saturday, October 26

Southwest 6th – 8th Grade Player Evaluations:

Southwest 6th–8th Grade Player Evaluations are Saturday, October 26 at Wayzata High School (Gym 1-4):

Player Evaluation Sessions (90 minutes)

6th Grade

7th Grade

8th Grade

12:30pm – 2pm

2:30pm – 4pm

4:30pm – 6pm

 

Arrive 30-40 minutes prior to your session to allow time for check-in and warm-up.  Players bring your own basketball (28.5 size for 6th grade and 29.5 size for 7th-8th grade) and a water bottle.  Evaluations will be based on 2 skill stations (dribbling and shooting) and 2 game play situations (1 v 1 and 5 v 5).  Results will be used by coaches to select teams and all registered players will be placed on a team.  It is preferred that all players participate in the evaluation process but if you are not able to attend please email to the Southwest League Director (swdirector6-8@wayzatabasketball.org) for advance notice.
