Scholarship Overview 

Wayzata Boys Basketball offers scholarships to those families with significant financial need.  Our goal is to make sure that financial concerns do not prevent any boys in our community from being involved in basketball at some level.

The 2023-2024 season scholarship details follow:

• House and Southwest programs require a minimum payment of $50 per participant and scholarships will be considered to cover the balance.

• Travel program will be limited to a maximum of 50% of the program fee and scholarships will be considered to cover the balance.  

In cases of extreme hardship, WBBA may work with families to develop payment plans or find alternative sources of funding. 

Scholarship requests made AFTER the Scholarship Deadline listed below will NOT be accepted.

Scholarship Process & Requirements

• Complete the scholarship request form in its entirety
• E-mail or send to completed form to WBBA Scholarship - details can be found on the scholarship request form posted at the bottom of this page
• WBBA will evaluate the request and reply with a decision within 5 business days
• If the scholarship is granted, WBBA will send a discount code that must be used during the registration process
• Participants must be registered prior to published deadlines - no exceptions
• Families being granted scholarships are required to volunteer a minimum of 6 hours during the respective league tournaments - failure to do so may jeopardize future scholarship requests
